This book was a work studied closely by our church small group a few years ago, and we found it to be a great one, pushing the reader to pursue big plans and dreams in life. It is well-written and focused around the moment found in the 10th chapter of the book of Joshua where he prays audaciously for God to do a mighty work. God answered him in a way that blew Joshua's (and all the Israelites) away. This moment changed everything for them, and it is this moment that serves as the spark for this book. In Sun Stand Still, Furtick calls for each of us to identify our own request-of-epic-proportions of God so that we might experience Him in a new way.
I received this book from the Blogging for Books program in exchange for this honest review.
